The Belleville Police responded to 77 calls for service between April 10, 2019 at 5 a.m. and April 11, 2019 at 5 a.m.
Drive Under Suspension
On April 10, 2019 at 8 a.m., a Belleville Police officer stopped a vehicle on Hwy 62. Further investigation revealed that the 28-year-old male was suspended and did not have insurance. He was charged with drive under suspension under the Highway Traffic act, and fail to have insurance under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance. His vehicle was towed and he was given a court date of May 6, 2019.
Break and Enter
On April 10, 2019 at 3:10 p.m., a young female arrived at her residence on Southview. She entered the residence and heard male voices. She fled the residence and observed one or two possibly males with black hoodies flee the residence from the side door. The male(s) were observed running north. Officers attended the area but were unable to locate the suspect(s). If anybody has any information please contact the Belleville Police. It does not appear that anything was taken.
