Arrest on Warrants
On April 9, 2019 at 11 a.m., Belleville Police were contacted by Peterborough Police and were advised that they had a male by the name of Dustin Barnett in custody. The male was wanted on an arrest warrant from Belleville for two counts of break and enter, and fail to attend court. He was transported to Belleville and held for a bail hearing.
Intoxicated persons
On April 9, 2019 at 6:46 p.m., Belleville Police responded to an apartment building in the east end of the city regarding a male acting out in the hallways. A 41-year-old male was arrested and charged for being intoxicated in a common area under the Liquor Licence Act and was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he was lodged into cells for his own safety until sober.
Motor Vehicle Collisions
The Belleville Police Service responded to seven motor vehicle collisions throughout the city. The collisions resulted in minor property damages and no injuries were reported.
