The Technical Standards and Safety Authority and Ministry of Labour are being called in after a fire at a gas station in Trenton early this afternoon.
Quinte West firefighters responded to the Panda Gas Station at the roundabout on Stockdale Road, around 1 p.m.
Fire Chief John Whelan says his crews quickly put out flames that were seen coming from a storm drain and a bucket on the site, but there was nobody on scene when they arrived.
OPP are investigating as well, with the TSSA and MOL expected to be on site through the afternoon.
Whelan says despite the ongoing investigation there is no disruption to traffic on Stockdale Road.
