The deadline for local students to get updated immunizations is fast approaching.
Students who don’t have up-to-date vaccination records face a 20 day suspension from school, effective this coming Friday.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health’s Bill Sherlock says they sent out 2,700 vaccination notices in January and that number has been dropping steadily since then.
Sherlock says if you’ve got a notice, or aren’t sure if your child’s record is up to date, it’s easy to get that information.
