Two prohibited drivers were caught behind the wheel this weekend according to Northumberland OPP.
Police say on Friday morning, officers stopped a vehicle to investigate an offence under the Smoke Free Ontario Act.
Thomas Douglas Shephard, 47, of Brighton was found to be a prohibited driver and charged with driving while disqualified.
On Saturday evening, police stopped to check on a vehicle pulled over on the side of the eastbound 401 in Cramahe Township and discovered 33-year-old David William Whiteman was also a prohibited driver.
The Marmora man is facing a charge of driving while disqualified.
Both had their vehicles towed and impounded for 45 days.
The two men will appear in court next month.
