The Bell Media communications team announced itss launch of a new high-speed wireless broadband home internet network, at a public meeting in the Frankfor Lions Centre Friday morning.
Bell announced the new service will be coming to many local rural areas including, Frankford, Madoc, Roseneath and Tweed.
Bell is also planning on expanding in the near future to Bancroft, Campbellford, Cobourg, Greater Napanee, Hastings and Trenton.
The new 5G wireless home internet service will benefit both residents and small business owners.
Shawn Omstead, product manager for Bell, says that Bell media is excited about the launch, the commitment from local communities and is thrilled for this product to expand.

Several service towers have been set up around the rural communities and are ready for use, while other towers are still in the process of being set up.
Frankford has now had the new wireless broadband home internet service for a little over two weeks and Omstead had this to say about the response it has received,
Quinte West Deputy Mayor Jim Alyea was in attendance at the meeting.
“This is great news for our area, it’s a much more effective way to do business and will benefit a lot of people.”
The starting price for this next generation technology is $69.95 for the 25 megabit service. The installation fee is $99.
