Belleville police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man suspected of robbing a jewellery store in the Quinte Mall on Monday.
Police say they responded after an alarm at the Charm Diamond Centre.
It’s alleged a man entered the store and stole two rings from a clerk and ran out of the mall through Shoppers Drug Mart .
He was seen driving away in a white SUV believed to be a Mazda Tribute with the licence plate removed.
The man is described as being white, in his mid 30s, around 5 feet 6 inches tall, thin, with crooked and chipped teeth. He was wearing a blue toque, dark blue jacket, blue jeans and black boots.
