The month of March was a solid one in the City of Quinte West as far as construction plans were concerned.
Last month there were 38 building permits issued for a total value of almost $6.3 million. In March of last year there were 37 permits for a value of just over $3.5 million.
Meanwhile, for the year so far, planned construction is also up. To the end of March, 112 permits were issued for a value of close to $15.5 million, up around $2 million from the same period in 2018.
Meanwhile, the number of building permits issued is down a bit but construction value is up from last year so far in Prince Edward County.
To the end of March 134 permits were issued, a little lower than the 149 issued for the first 3 months of 2018.
Meanwhile, construction value is up around $1.2 million to the end of March when compared to the same period last year.
