One of two men charged after the armed robbery of a drug store in downtown Brighton last September has been sentenced in a Cobourg courtroom.
Quinte West man Hubert Pollard, 39 at the time of his arrest, had pleaded guilty to armed robbery and drug charges among others, and was sentenced to 7 years in prison.
Pollard had already spent 192 days in jail previous to his being sentenced.
He was also banned from owning weapons for life.
Meanwhile, the other man charged, Dale Woodall of Quinte West, remains before the courts.
Two men entered the pharmacy brandishing what appeared to be firearms and took off after demanding a quantity of drugs from a clerk.
