It was a wet one Saturday, so wet that we easily set a new rainfall record for a March 30 in the Quinte region.
According to Environment Canada and readings taken at CFB Trenton 38.4 millimetres of rain fell, much more than the previous record rainfall which was 25.8 mm set in 1987.
Meanwhile Sunday, the record will be much harder to surpass because on March 31 of 2016 39.3 mm of rain fell in this area.
