The province of Ontario has released the annual so-called “sunshine list”, a listing of the provincial government and Crown Agency employees that earn $100,000 a year or more.
In 2018 there were 150,872 people on the list, an increase of 19,131 from 2017.
Here are some of the more notable local public sector employees on the sunshine list.
President of Quinte Health Care Mary Clare Egberts: $374,073
C.E.O. of the Southeast Local Health Integration Network Paul Huras: $368,288
Director of Education Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board Jody Dirocco: $272,880
President of Loyalist College Anne Marie Vaughan: $258,343
Director of Education Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board Mandy Savery-Whiteway: $225,109
MPP Bay of Quinte riding and cabinet minister Todd Smith: $141,474
Medical Officer of Health Hastings Prince Edward Health Unit Dr. Piotr Oglaza: $134,433 (employed at position less than half the year)
Topping the list in all of Ontario was the outgoing C.E.O. of Ontario Power Generation Jeffrey Lyash who made over 1.7 million dollars.
