Members of the public using Quinte Conservation trails are being warned about the icy conditions.
Spokesman Brad McNevin says warm weather conditions throughout the day, and below freezing at night, are creating ice accumulations on the trails within the watershed.
McNevin says the Conservation area will remain open, but there are natural spaces, and sand and salt are not applied to the trails.
Visitors are encouraged to wear proper footwear for travelling over the icy surfaces.
