A director who’s served on the Quinte Health Care Board of Directors for almost a decade is retiring from the board.
Karen Baker, a Loyalist College professor, businessperson, mother, and a Belleville Rotary Club member, has served as the board’s treasurer for the past seven years.
Chair of the board Stuart Wright congratulated and thanked Baker for her service, saying “Karen has helped us through some incredibly difficult financial challenges over the years.”
For her part, Baker thanked the board for their support saying “this has been an incredible volunteer experience. I’ve learned a lot and I plan on staying involved with QHC in some capacity in future years.”
