The company that will become Belleville’s hydro provider in April has named a new president and CEO.
Lesley Gallinger will take over the top job at Elexicon Energy, which was formed after a merger between Veridian Connection and Whitby Hydro, which was approved last year.
Gallinger is currently working as the Chief Strategy and Financial Officer with the Electrical Safety Authority and has also held positions with Oakville Hydro.
The company has also named Norm Fraser as interim president and CEO to help guide the company through the merger process until Gallinger’s official arrival on May 21.
Elexicon Energy will serve 162,000 customers in Belleville and parts of Durham Region.
