Motor vehicle collisions
Belleville, Ontario – On March 21, 2019 police investigated six motor vehicle collisions. While most involved only property damage, one collision resulted in injuries.
At 2:38 p.m. police attended on North Front Street south of Valleyview Cres. in relation to a three-car collision. Paramedics and Belleville Fire Department attended to treat two persons at the scene with minor injuries. All three vehicles suffered extensive damage and were towed. The investigation is continuing. Arrest on warrants
Belleville, Ontario – On March 21, 2019, at 12:05 p.m., police arrested 35-year-old Nathan Dobratz at the court house on Bridge Street West on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court. A search also revealed a quantity of methamphetamines on his person. He will appear in court on April 18, 2019 on charges of failing to appear in court and possession of a controlled substance.
Intoxicated male
Belleville, Ontario – On March 22, 2019, at 2:35 a.m. police attended at Belleville General Hospital regarding an intoxicated male who was refusing to leave. A 24-year-old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. He was issued a provincial offence notice for being intoxicated in a public place.
