Fire destroyed a garage north of Frankford early last evening (Tuesday).
Quinte West Fire Chief John Whalen says firefighters from Frankford and Batawa responded to Trentside Lane to a fully engulfed unattached garage at 5:30.
It was destroyed in the fire, causing about $40,000 damage. The cause remains under investigation.
No one was injured.
