A Quinte West man has been found guilty and sentenced to a year in prison on drug trafficking charges.
Chavez Anthony Singh was arrested, along with a man and a woman from the Toronto area, in early June of last year after police raids on residences in Quinte West and in the GTA.
Singh, who was 25 at the time the charges were laid, was also sentenced to two years probation and handed a 10-year weapons prohibition.
During the searches police seized over $20,000 worth of cocaine, a loaded handgun, a cocaine press, body armour, and other items consistent with drug trafficking.
