A peace vigil is being held in Belleville tomorrow (Wednesday)to honour those killed and injured in the New Zealand attacks last Friday.
The Quinte Branch of the United Nations Association and Holy Trinity Church are hosting the vigil to show Belleville’s support for the Christchurch community and Belleville’s Muslim families.
The attacks left 50 people dead and dozens more injured.
Mayor Mitch Panciuk and Deputy Police Chief Mike Callaghan will address the group.
The vigil will begin at 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church on Victoria Avenue.
