The City of Quinte West handed out its annual volunteer excellence awards Monday night.
Close to 20 volunteers were honoured for their service to various community groups including the National Air Force Museum, Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation, Relay for Life and more.
Mayor Jim Harrison says the community simply would not run without the support of its hundreds of volunteers.
