Two people are facing charges after the vehicle they were driving was determined to be stolen.
Just before 2 a.m. on March 11, Northumberland OPP officers conducted a traffic stop in Applewood Drive in Brighton.
The male driver informed officers he was driving a stolen vehicle and he was wanted for violating his parole.
Further investigation revealed the truck he was driving was stolen from a home in Stirling six days earlier.
Stephen Andrew Dunkley, 34, of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Township is facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of break in instruments.
He appeared in court on Sunday.
Also charged was 29 year-old Ginny Ellis of Quinte West. She is facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of break in instruments.
She will appear in court next month.
