SENT BY COBOURG POLICE
At 3:20 p.m. on March 14, 2019, officers from the Cobourg Police Service responded to a call at Elgin St.W. regarding an assault in progress with a knife involved. Upon arrival police ascertained the identity of the assailant and arrested him a short distance away.
Nicholas Burr 29 years old of Cobourg, Ontario is charged with the following offences:
Assault with a Weapon
Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
The accused was booked into custody and later released on a Promise to Appear in court as well as an Officer in charge undertaking.
