Three Quinte West residents are facing charges following an OPP investigation.
The Quinte West OPP Community Street Crime Unit, along with the Emergency Response Team, conducted a search of a vehicle today (Thursday) as they investigate the sale and distribution of drugs in the community.
Police seized cocaine, heroine and hydromorphone, cash and stolen property in excess of $85,000.
Michael William Mitchell, 26, Lorie Lee Mitchell, 56, and Mitch Mitchell, 28 were all arrested and are facing multiple possession charges including possession of a substance in Schedule 1 (cocaine) for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a substance in Schedule 1 (hydromorphone), possess a substance included in Schedule I (heroin) and possession of property obtained by crime exceeding $5,000 (2 counts).
They were held for a bail hearing in Belleville court today (Thursday).
