Both Quinte Conservation and Lower Trent Conservation are warning people to get set for some minor flooding over the next few days.
The region will be experiencing above freezing temperatures and rain is on the way so water levels in creeks, streams and rivers are expected to increase quickly.
There will be some minor flooding in the next few days in the smaller streams. Rivers are not expected to overflow their banks, at least not in the near future.
Ice jams could occur causing flooding as well.
People should stay off the ice and away from fast flowing water.
