The Napanee Raiders continue to cruise through the Eastern Conference playoff picture in the Provincial Junior Hockey League.
The Raiders defeated the Picton Pirates last night at home, 5-1 to take a commanding 3-0 series lead. The Raiders are now a perfect 7-0 in the playoffs.
Leading the way last night was veteran forward Ryan Casselman picking up two goals and an assist. Austin Labelle added two assists, while Reid Humphrey scored a goal with an assist for the Raiders. Nicholas Nabuurs made 17 saves backstopping his team to the win.
Pirates goaltender Kyle Renaud was excellent in the loss making 36 saves on 41 shots. Griffen Conger scored the Pirates loan goal.
Picton will look to stay alive tonight at home as they welcome the Raiders for a 7:30 puck drop.
