Local politicians are welcoming a new player in the wireless communications business to this part of Ontario.
Yesterday, Shaw Communications announced the expansion of its Freedom Mobile service into Eastern Ontario, including the Quinte region.
MP Neil Ellis, MPP Todd Smith and mayor of Belleville Mitch Panciuk were all quoted in a press release as being happy that another cell servicer provider would be up and running to provide consumers with more options.
