Northumberland OPP are warning people about a high number of attempted trailer thefts in Trent Hills over the last month.
Police say since February 11th, they have investigated four attempted trailer thefts from various locations in the Trent Hills area.
OPP say the locking mechanisms attached to the trailers were compromised but the suspect or suspects were unable to tow the trailer due to various circumstances.
On March 6, a utility trailer was reported stolen from Campbellford. It was found the next day with all the tools that were stored inside stolen.
Northumberland OPP are asking for the public’s help in this ongoing investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
