Power has been restored to the 1,400 Hydro One customers affected by the equipment failure.

There are approximately 1,400 people without power at this hour in our listening area.
Hydro One is currently working to restore power to Stirling-Rawdon, Hastings and Sidney.
The power outage was caused by equipment failure due to a broken insulator.
Crews are on scene working to make repairs.
Power is estimated to be restored by 5 p.m.
