The 2019 Youth Bowl Canada Southern Ontario Championships were held this past weekend in London (boys’ events) and Woodstock (girls’ events).
Quinte Bowl Youth Bowlers came home with two medals.
Fifteen-year-old Karley Mason won the gold in the Junior Girls’ Division and a spot on the Southern Ontario team heading to the YBC Nationals being held in Laval, Quebec May 5 – 7. Karley averaged 181 over 6 games.
Will Lyon, competing in his first YBC Southern Ontario Championship, picked up the bronze medal in the Senior Boys’ Division averaging 220 over 6 games.
