Theft
On February 26, 2019, at approximately 11:35 a.m., police officers observed a male in the parking lot of a west end business. Officers recognized the male and confirmed that the male had a warrant for his arrest. Officers arrested the male and a search incident to arrest revealed that he had just left the business with stolen merchandise. Thirty-five-year-old Terry Gray, of Belleville was charged with theft under $5000, failing to comply with a probation order, and failing to comply with an undertaking. He was later released on a Promise to Appear with conditions.
