There’s been no update yet on a significant fire in the Napanee area early this morning.
The blaze, which broke out just after 5:00 a.m.. on County Road 2 between Deseronto and Napanee, involved a barn, tractor trailer and shed and was burning close to a nearby home.
Reports from the scene say the home wasn’t affected by the fire and no injuries were reported.
The section of County Road 2 was closed down until about 9:30 this morning.
We’ve contacted the Napanee Fire Department for an update on the cause of the blaze along with an estimate on damage costs.

Napanee firefighters had to fight a big fire along County Road 2 at Barker Side Road between Deseronto and the town of Napanee Tuesday morning.
Officials with the Napanee Fire department say a barn, a drive shed, and a tractor trailer were heavily damaged.
County Road 2 is closed to traffic in the area. The call came in after 5:00 am.
It is not known if anyone was injured.
