Elementary school students faced off in three categories; green energy, technology and construction. The winners in the construction challenge will take home a massive construction kit provided by the Quinte Homebuilder’s Association says Braithwaite. The winners in the other two categories will take home a $200 Kidder gift card.
Secondary school students had a few more categories in which to highlight their skills, including: architectural technology and design, automotive, culinary, electrical, esthetics, individual carpentry, mechanical CAD, photography, precision machining, two-person carpentry, and welding. More than $20,000 in bursaries will be presented to the top competitors.
