It appears there are some people who really wanted to get into a new homeless shelter in Belleville.
Grace Inn Board Chair Jodie Jenkins tells Quinte News that officials with the shelter came up to the building on Church Street Monday morning, to find it had been entered sometime over the weekend.
Jenkins says copper piping was taken from inside, wagons of tools were stolen, and the suspect/suspects defecated on the front door.
He says they will be filing a police report.
