Domestic assault
Belleville – On February 23 at approximately 6 a.m., police responded to a report of a domestic in the city’s west end. As a result of the investigation they are looking for a 36-year-old Belleville male in relation to allegations of assault and mischief. Names are being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
Public intoxication
Belleville – On February 23 at 8 p.m. police responded to a call of a disturbance between a male and female in the area of Leland Drive where the male was reportedly following and harassing the female. A 37-year-old Napanee male was arrested on the scene for public intoxication. He was brought to the Belleville Police Service where he was later released to a family member after being issued a provincial offence notice for public intoxication.
Arrest on warrant
Belleville – On February 23, shortly before 10 p.m., an officer on patrol located a 35-year-old Quinte West female who was wanted by Quinte West OPP on outstanding arrest warrants. She was taken into custody by the Belleville officer and transported to the Quinte West OPP detachment to be processed.
