A local business has received a prestigious provincial award.
Signal Brewing Company and its owners Richard Courneyea and his wife Shawna were recently presented the Lieutenant Governor’s Ontario Heritage Award for Excellence in Conservation.
Ontario Lieutenant Governor Elizabeth Dowdeswell made the presentation in Toronto.
The award was given for the major work done to restore a heritage building, which used to be one of the Corby Distillery buildings.
