The 2019 Guardian Angel for The Children’s Foundation is Kristin Crowe.
On Saturday night, 250 Sidney Street was transformed into a “Springtime in Paris” theme for the largest fundraiser of the year.
A sold out crowd of 350 took in the evening, which not only raised funds for numerous foundation programs, but also celebrated one person in the Bay of Quinte area, who makes a difference.
This year it was Kristin Crowe.
The Children’s Foundation Executive Director Connie Reid says she does so many wonderful things.
Kristin Crowe tells Quinte News this was never on her radar. She was invited to breakfast by The Children’s Foundation Executive Director Connie Reid.
She adds that it is interesting that the evening was in part about her.
Sam Brady is the board chair for The Children’s Foundation. Brady says this year’s selection was a no brainer.
Brady tells us some of her great contributions.
The event included a high end multi-course meal, live and silent auctions, music from The Impish Grins, and more.
This year’s goal is $140,000 and Brady says they brought in over $156,000, a new record.
Below is the statement from The Children’s Foundation.
On Saturday, February 23rd Kristin Crowe joined The Children’s Foundation Guardian Angel family as she was honoured, in front of 350 guests, at the Foundation’s Annual Gala that raised a record amount of $156,000!
