Public libraries in Northumberland-Peterborough South riding have received funding grants from the provincial government.
On Tuesday, MPP for the riding David Piccini announced a total of close to $200,000 for nine libraries.
Libraries in our listening area receiving the extra operating and pay equity grants are in Brighton, Trent Hills, and Cramahe Township.
Brighton’s library received just under $30,000, Trent Hills library was granted just over $33,000 and the library in Cramahe Township received close to $13,000.
