The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation is ever so close to having the money to by a new CT scan machine after a big crowd kicked up their heels at the first annual Down East Kitchen Party at the National Air Force Museum of Canada Saturday night.
The event, organized by realtors the O’QuinnTeam, featured the Fiddleheads, bagpipers, Highland Dancers, among others, and dinner.
Organizer Lorraine O’Quinn says people really liked the casual atmosphere.
Final totals haven’t been tallied but it’s expected around $45,000 was raised at the Down East Kitchen Party, close to half of the $100,000 needed to purchase a new CT scan for Trenton Memorial Hospital.
