On February 9, 2019 at approximately 7 p.m., Central Hastings OPP responded to two traffic complaints of a southbound vehicle striking two separate northbound vehicles on Highway 62, south of the Village of Madoc.
The driver continued southbound on Highway 62 and was involved in a single motor vehicle collision.
The driver left the highway and rolled over into the west ditch near Smith Road in the City of Belleville.
As a result of the investigation charged is, 51-year-old Jacqueline Green of Quinte West with the following Criminal Code Offence:
- Operation While Impaired
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Fail to Remain, two counts
Green had her driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for seven days. Green will appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on February 28, 2019.
No one was injured in the collisions.
