Only three building permits were issued in the Municipality of Brighton for the month of January.
The permits totalled $962,000 with the Brighton Family Health Team and the Brighton YMCA bringing in the most money as they are seeking an addition at 170 Main Street at a cost of $924,000.
Last year for the same period there had been five permits issued at a cost of $984,000.
