A new event at Batawa Ski Hill was a success and so much so it will happen again.
On January 19, Batawa Ski Hill held its inaugural Give Back Saturday event with all funds raised benefiting the
Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation.
On that day, Batawa Ski Hill donated $5 of each lift ticket sold to the Foundation.
Over $1,700 was raised.
There were a chili cook off and ski equipment demonstrations as well as other special events during Give Back Saturday.
