Two upcoming public information meetings will provide details about two proposed road reconstruction projects in Picton.
The municipality is proposing to complete the reconstruction of portions of the roadway on Talbot Street and Lake Street. The section under consideration is proposed to commence approximately 300m south of the Millennium Trail and extend southerly to West Mary Street.
A public information meeting for this project is scheduled for Monday, February 11, from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street, Picton).
The municipality is also considering reconstruction work on Fairfield Street from Picton Main Street to Hill Street, and Hill Street from Fairfield Street to the sewer pumping station.
A public information meeting for this project is scheduled for Tuesday, February 12, from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street, Picton).
Both public information meetings will consist of a drop-in style format with displays showing the proposed plans for reconstruction. County staff and the project consultant will be on hand to answer any questions and to provide additional information.
