Hastings County is working on a new brand aimed at improving recognition for the county.
The plan is to form a marketing campaign aimed at improving recognition and increase its advertising effectiveness for Hastngs County.
Manager of Economic Development and Tourism Andrew Redden tells Quinte News the idea is to bring people to the county to live, visit, and invest in the area.
Redden says officials are looking at visitation statistics, how many people are attending festivals, staying at accommodations.
There will be new highway signage.
Redden expects the new branding will be launched later in the spring.
