Ashley Ree of Shannonville is celebrating after winning a $100,000 top prize with INSTANT JACK FROST (Game #2119).
“I had actually won $5 off another INSTANT JACK FROST ticket and used the money to buy another ticket, which ended up being the ‘Big Winner’!” shared Ashley, a 31-year-old stay at home mom, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her cheque.
Ashley was at bingo when she scratched her ticket and discovered her windfall. “I couldn’t believe it, I threw all my bingo tickets in the air and left right away,” she laughed. “I went to the gas station to check my ticket then called my husband in shock.”
The married mother of five, plans on putting a down payment on a house and taking a family vacation.
“It’s a really good feeling – you think about what you’ll do with the money and it’s a lot of stress off us,” she smiled.
INSTANT JACK FROST was available for $5 a play and the top prize was $100,000. Odds of winning any prize were 1 in 3.41.
The winning ticket was purchased at Victoria Convenience on Victoria Avenue in Belleville.
