Two snow machines slammed into one another on Moira Lake Saturday afternoon.
Around 3:45 pm, Central Hastings OPP were called regarding the crash and two people were taken to hospital for treatment.
There was a sanctioned snowmobile event on the lake, however officers say the two machines were not taking part..
One driver, a 21 year old from Madoc Township, and a 27 year old from Campbellford were involved.
The investigation continues.
