Loyalist College is number one among Ontario colleges when it comes to the percentage of students that have received free tuition.
A CBC analysis found that 1,830 students at Loyalist, or 73%, received free tuition this school year.
The PC provincial government has eliminated the program put in place by the former Liberal government, cutting out free tuition entirely starting next school year in an attempt to cut the provincial deficit.
