A woman was mugged near City Hall in downtown Belleville Thursday afternoon.
The victim told police a man in his late 40s to early 50s approached her on Front Street around 4:15 and began yelling and screaming at her before assaulting her and stealing her Montreal Canadiens toque.
The suspect is described as scruffy in appearance with longer grey hair and was wearing a camouflage or military style jacket.
He was last seen going south on Front St.
