Officers at Collins Bay Institution in Kingston have seized a package containing a number of contraband items.
The seizure was made in the medium security unit around 5:00 p.m. last Saturday.
The unauthorized item included mini cell phones and chargers, ceramic blades, rolling papers and close to 125 grams of marijuana.
The total estimated institutional value of the seizure is $15,000.
Prison officials say the police have been notified and an investigation is ongoing.
