Maintenance crews in Prince Edward County are working double time to keep up with the lake effect snow and heavy winds over the last two days.
Reports indicate that some snow drifts made roads undriveable.
About two dozen collisions have been reported so far in the municipality.
County Roads Supervisor Jeff Bryans says near West Lake they had to close roads.
Bryans say the snow was heavy.
More lake effect snow is expected into Thursday evening.
Be careful if you’re driving, especially on the south shore.
Dozens of buses were cancelled yet again.
