Hastings County has recruited another doctor.
This will be the ninth doctor recruited for North Hastings, and the 18th overall in the program.
Dr. Dayna Noltie will begin her family medicine practice in Bancroft in July, including working in the hospital emergency department.
Hastings County CAO Jim Pine told Quinte News Thursday the recruitment program is ongoing.
Pine says Bancroft was “really in need” of a family doctor.
Dr. Noltie is currently completing her family medicine residency in Hamilton.
