A well-known community volunteer and businessman is retiring from his work at Habitat for Humanity Hastings and Prince Edward.
Bob Clute has served eight years with Habitat, including four years as Executive Director.
Clute will step down on January 31. A fundraiser to celebrate his contributions to the organization is being planned for sometime in March.
David Morris, of DJ Morris & Associates, who has helped other Habitat affiliates in transition, will take over February 1 as interim Executive Director while a permanent replacement is found.
